ORIGINATORS OF ICONIC EYEWEAR

SINCE 1926

"Show me something made by a machine that has the same personality and attention to detail as something handmade. What we do here is special."
Oliver Goldsmith (1967)

In 1919, Phillip Oliver Goldsmith sold glasses that were considered as medical devices but felt that there was an alternative and aimed at creating eyewear that was as fashionable as it was functional.

This is where it all started.

OLIVER GOLDSMITH PIONEERED A WHOLE NEW CONCEPT. EYE WEAR.

THE FIRST TO CREATE A NEW WAVE OF EYEWEAR, WHERE FUNCTIONALITY AND FASHION WORKED HAND IN HAND.
INTRODUCING EYEWEAR TO THE WORLD OF CATWALKS, FASHION, HOLLYWOOD, MUSIC AND ROYALTY.

Oliver Goldsmith believes in longevity and makes glasses meant to be enjoyed for decades. This shines through in the quality of the frames and the production methods that are used, sourcing artisan craftsmanship and components from Italy and Japan.

"Manufacturing an Oliver Goldsmith or Claire Goldsmith frame is a labour of love and passion. It is a very complex procedure, with the process from design to finished product taking up to 8 months to complete."
Oliver Goldsmith and Claire Goldsmith are are only available through selected trusted suppliers with the same passion for the products as the creators themselves.
"We don’t believe in fast fashion or ever-changing trends; the construction and design of our frames is about longevity, frames to take you through decades of wear and enjoyment."
